Amp and Subwoofer Operating Problem?
Can anyone help me troubleshoot my Amp and Subwoofer?
I have a Lanzar MXA282 Amp(4,000 watt: http://www.lanzar.com/itempage.asp?MODEL=MXA282), two Legacy Blue Diamond 4,000 watt PMPO subwoofers(Combined: http://www.brilliant-electronics.com/subwoofers_legacy_lw12270.htm), and one of those $80 amp wiring kits from walmart(With the “Nos for your amp”, the large capacitor).
I have everything hooked up and the cords around and through my car just to test it out, nothing fancy. I got the amp to turn on, on the lowest settings, and the subwoofers play low on the bass only setting, or low pass. What is the problem here?
Amp is refurbished, I will return and buy a brand new one. But as for the price, it was 150 refurbished, and 200 brand new. I always look at the specs, and the rms wattage, n/f ratio, and db rating is good. As for the wiring kit, yes I realized that last week and I ordered a 4000 watt amp wiring kit. Thanks for the HELP, from all but sparky.
sounds like ur amp isn’t workin right? is it a new amp? if so take it bck and get another one. if its not then try hooking another pair of subs to ur amp and see if those subs work the same or not. but i believe its ur amp!
