Copper Inductor
Xbox 360 falcon 2 inductor rings???
just bought an xbox 360 pro bundle. I did the inductor test and i see only two inductors but when i saw pics on the internet, the base that the copper wire is wrapped around is brown with the new falcon systems but on mine the base is green like the zephyr pics. What does this mean? Is it still a falcon since there are only 2 inductor rings?

I just got a new Falcon Xbox 360 too.. its one of the 175W power supply units.. so it is Falcon by default.. I did the inductor test anyway for kicks and noticed the same color difference as you mention.. it is the layout of the components which matters for identification.. because you saw the correct layout you are golden..
