What to do if ATI Raedon display driver crashes frequently ??
I am having integrated ATI Raedon 1100 card in my laptop.My main problem is that whenever I play some video or watch it online after a few seconds my screen goes blank and vista display a message saying that display driver has encountered a problem and recovered.
I have updated my dispaly drivers to the latest catalyst drives but the problem is still there.I had uninstalled my previous drivers drivers properly before installing the newer ones.

That catalyst software is garbage. It is nice but first, it’s a memory hogger and you will have driver problems. Ati never seem to get their act straight with thier software.
What you should do is use a generic driver, reboot and delte ATI. Then, update with the drivers that came with your card.
